Carla Martin Loggins has taken the old Holly Hill Motor Inn, a goup of 15 cottages and turned them into commercial rental space. Since the property was located in the main commercial district of Volusia County, and fronted a heavily traveled highway (US1) she decided they would be better suited for business. Her idea was to cater to the business owner needing high visability. In addition business owners who needed their own strong identity would need a free standing building so that clients and customers would notice and remember them. Cottage row gives business owners a high profile and a very professional image. Carla as a young female developer has put a classy touch to business space and in the meantime has sparked a new interest in surrounding properties.
